Patty Murray: 'We have a lot of work ahead'
From The Moscow Pullman Daily News, April 3, 2007

"Murray said she wants American troops stations in Iraq to come home, noting that she supports an emergency supplemental war spending bill, passed by the House of Representatives which sets an September 2008 date of return for soldiers in Iraq.

"Murray also said more efforts will be made to restore Social Security, noting that Bush 'said it's in bad shape because he wants to privatize it.' She said that as Social Security benefits currently stand, teenagers today should receive 75 percent of what they are due, although 'it would be better if Bush stopped taking money out of Social Security to fund other projects.'
