Inaguration Breakfast

With the Inauguration of President Elect Obama coming up on Tuesday January 20th the Whitman County Democrats will be celebrating at the Denny's in Pullman. We will be starting at 8:00 am and going until about Noon. Come celebrate our election victories last year with us and welcome our new President.

New Officers Elected

The December 6th reorganization meeting of the Whitman County Democrats elected new officers for the next two year cycle, 2009-2010. The new officers of the Whitman County Democrats are:

Secretary Peggy Ray
State Committeeman James Downes
State Committeewoman Carolyn Cress

REORGANIZATION MEETING SET FOR DECEMBER 6

PCO's will gather on December 6 to elect new Officers for the
Whitman County Democrats. All Offices are open, although we
would suggest that our Treasurer be re-elected. To be selected:
Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, State Committeewoman, and State
Committeeman.

Any Democrat may be nominated, but only PCOs (Precinct
Committee Officers) may vote. If you wish to put your name
in nomination, or wish to nominate someone else, you can do so
by informing Carolyn Cress or by attending the Dec. 6 meeting.

The Whitman County Auditor is currently reporting 5000 ballots left to be counted, but here is the state of the race right now in Whitman County:
