Whitman County Democrats

There will be a caucus training on Saturday January 26th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Public Service Building, 310 N Main St Colfax (map).

We will be covering the caucus process, the responsibility of precinct chairs, and how to be a delegate to the next level. No RSVP is required, bring your friends!

UPDATE
There will be an additional caucus training at 5:30 pm January 16th before the Whitman County Democrats meeting. The location is the Holiday Inn Express in Pullman (1190 SE Bishop Blvd)

Nathan Weller will be sworn in to the Pullman City Council on December 26th at 10:30 am at Pullman City Hall. Everyone is invited to come.

Today was the recount of the ballots for the Pullman City Council Ward 2 race. Before the recount Nathan Weller, Whitman County Democrats endorsed candidate, with 279 votes was ahead of the incumbent Al Sorensen with 270. Sorensen conceded today before the recount was completed making Nathan the winner of the election. Although the recount was not completed Nathan's margin grew as a result of the recount and prompted the concession of his opponent. Congratulations Nathan!

We will have the pleasure of being joined by Washington State Democrats Chair Dwight Pelz for a Caucus training on November 10 from 10:00 am to Noon. All Whitman County Democrats are invited to attend and find out more information about the Caucuses.
