Due to the changes in how this year's Primary election will be held the Whitman County Democrats must hold a nominating convention to nominate a Democrat for each local partisan political office. The Whitman County Democrats will be holding their Nominating Convention on Wednesday May 14th at 7:30 pm after our regularly scheduled meeting at the Pullman, Holiday Inn Express. Candidate for partisan political office in Whitman County in 2008 will be nominated as official Democratic Candidates at the Nominating Convention.

The rules from the Washington State Democratic Party only allow PCO's to vote at the nominating convention. If there is not currently a Democratic PCO in your precinct, and you would like to be appointed please contact Carolyn Cress at ccress@whitmandemocrats.org.
